7.45pm Brexit – a view from the Lords. Baroness Julie Smith.
We are very pleased to Welcome Baroness Smith to our AGM. Julie is Director of the European Centre in the Department of Politics and International Relations at Cambridge University and a Fellow of Robinson College. Since 2014 she has been a member of the House of Lords where she speaks on Europe and Defence, and is a member of the International Relations Committee. Her most recent book,'The UK's Journeys into and out of the EU: Destinations Unknown', looks at the history of the UK's relations with the EU over the last half century.

As you will have seen, assuming the motion to reorganise local party boundaries is passed, the election of a new Executive will take place at the Convening Meeting of the new South Cambs Local Party on Monday 27th November to which you will receive a separate invitation.
Meanwhile a reminder if you haven’t replied and intend to come:
