Chris Grey Brexit Update and Q&A

South Cambridgeshire Liberal Democrats are delighted to be welcoming back Chris Grey, author of a must-read Brexit blog and Emeritus Professor of Organisational Studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, to give us an update on the latest Brexit issues and how likely a no-deal is at the end of the year.

Chris will give a brief overview of where we are before opening the floor up for a Q&A. The session will be chaired by Cllr Lucy Nethsingha, former MEP and Leader of the Lib Dems on Cambridgeshire County Council.

The whole session will be via Zoom and will be recorded for those who are unable to attend. We would like to invite all Lib Dem members - please do not forward this event to those outside of the Liberal Democrats.

Sunday 18th October 2020, 3pm - 5pm

Zoom Conference

Once you have RSVP'd, you will be sent the Zoom code.

As you may have seen, the Liberal Democrats passed their Europe motion at Conference and reaffirmed our commitment to rejoining the European Union at some point in the future. We will do everything in our power to stop a no-deal Brexit and stop Boris Johnson breaking international law.

Meanwhile we are also gearing up for the largest Cambridgeshire-wide campaign we have ever run - we are in a strong position to take the County Council from the Tories as well as boot out our Trump-like Tory Mayor next May. This will not be possible without funds, so if you are willing to make a voluntary £5 or £10 donation to attend this event we would be really appreciative.

We hope to see you there!
